Meeting Recap for Recovered Life + Plus Subscribers: What are you angry and resentful about?

Key Takeaways and Reflections from Our Last Recovered Life Meeting

Resentment is a story we tell ourselves—one that keeps us trapped. But what if we could rewrite that story? What if, instead of carrying the weight of anger and past wounds, we chose to step into freedom?

At last night’s Recovered Life Group Meeting, we didn’t just talk about resentment—we explored how to release it. Through radical self-inquiry, ownership, and reimagination, we challenged the narratives that have held us back and took real steps toward liberation.

The Stories That Keep Us Stuck

We began with a powerful question:

Resentment often disguises itself as righteousness. It convinces us that we are protecting ourselves when, in reality, it’s holding us hostage. Many of us uncovered the hidden narratives behind our resentment—stories of betrayal, unfair treatment, or unresolved wounds. But as we examined them, a realization emerged: these stories were just perspectives, not absolute truths.
