My Thoughts

When I first got sober, I wanted my sponsor to tell me how it was going to end, so I could play my part. But there are no guarantees, or prophecies except one: if you stay sober, you have an opportunity to work toward the life you want. There will be surprises along the way. Trust in a higher power, do what is in front of you, and you will be amazed before you are through. That's a promise.

Action for the Week

Today, let me be willing to be surprised. Help me be awake and aware of life in all of its unexpectedness.
