Healing in recovery

The Sacred Space Between

Healing often happens in the silence between what was and what’s coming next.

This week may bring a strange kind of stillness. You’re no longer in crisis — but you might not feel fully “free” yet either. You’re somewhere in the middle, and the mind doesn’t always like that. In recovery, we often want clarity, closure, or a sign. But healing unfolds on its own timeline — and the space between is where our nervous system finally learns to rest.

This liminal space is sacred. You don’t need to rush through it. You don’t have to prove your worth by constantly striving. Right now, you are growing in unseen ways. The work you’re doing — showing up, feeling, not escaping — is more than enough. Let this week be about trusting the invisible progress.

Reflect on this question: What part of my healing feels uncertain or unfinished?

Then instead of fixing it, practice sitting with it. Light a candle, breathe, and simply let it be there — not as a problem, but as part of the process. This is where faith deepens — not in knowing, but in learning how to stay with yourself in the space between.
